Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician

Location: 325 Eagle Valley Rd, Beech Creek, PA 16822
Shift: 8am-4pm M-F
Pay: $30.89-$38.61 per hour
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:
- Demonstrate flexibility to perform various job roles within the maintenance department as assigned
- Completes all maintenance service requests as assigned.
- Completes preventive, predictive maintenance, work orders, and project records in detail
- Acts decisively and shows a strong sense of urgency to ensure follow through of established goals
- Work as a team as well as be self-directed and work without direct supervision
- Perform work in accordance with NFPA 70E and other applicable codes and guidelines
- Installing conduit and wirings, motors, instrumentation, recording devices, starters and temporary wiring setups
- Using precision instrumentation such as voltmeter, ammeter, megger, wattmeter, etc.
- Works with engineering drawings, electrical diagrams, simple and complex sketches, other related documents and verbal field instructions needed to perform assigned duties.
- Perform a wide variety of maintenance and repair duties and new installations to plant grounds and buildings involving but not limited to concrete, masonry, roofs, and wood
- Work on air conditioning units (all classes) and refrigeration units including maintenance troubleshooting
- Perform all types of mechanical maintenance, including but not limited to changing bearings, belts, gears, hoses, chains, pulleys, and air lines
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair steam generation equipment
- Perform fabrication with use of welding. drill presses, etc
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to successfully complete and pass a background check, employment verification, a physical (including color acuity and hearing test), and drug screening
- Positive and Verifiable Work History
- A High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years related experience
- Ability to work occasional Overtime, Holidays, and Weekends
- Must be willing and able to wear all required safety protective equipment and comply with all other job-related safety requirements
- PLC experience is a plus
- Associates degree in a related field is a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

- Regularly travel up and down stairs repeatedly; repetitive motion of hands/wrists/fingers; concentrate and repeat the same physical activities over and over; move between different physical locations within and between buildings.
- Lift up to 50 lbs. in the normal course of work/travel, operate mobile equipment
- Push, pull, carry, and maneuver heavy loads up to 50 lbs. with the use of assistive devices
- Talk, hear, read, write and comprehend English
- Must be able to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment
- Must have the visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect product produced
- Walking, stretching, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, grasping and repetitive movements
