We are searching for individuals with veterinary care experience who are excited to learn, work well on a team, enjoy a fast-paced climate, and place patient care as the most important aspect of their role.  Our 24 hour hospital offers a variety of caseload, including exotic patients.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
  • Patient handling and restraint
  • Medication administration & filling prescriptions
  • Assisting other team members and our Veterinarians, as needed
  • Intravenous catheter placement and venipuncture 
  • Administer drugs (IV, SQ, Oral) 
  • Assists with radiographic procedures 
  • Perform diagnostic blood, urine, and fecal testing  
  • Admitting and discharging patients

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least one year of previous veterinary experience 
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Must be a bright, friendly, and effective communicator in order to communicate with clients, visitors, veterinarians, and other hospital staff. (It’s okay if you talk to animals, too)
  • Must be able to lift 50 squirming pounds.
  • Must be able to work in a veterinary environment with exposure to infection or contagious diseases.
