Job Overview:
The Treasury Analyst will be responsible for the management of our financial assets, liquidity, and risk management activities to ensure the company’s financial health and stability. This is a hands-on role requiring someone with strong cash management and cash forecasting experience. Reporting directly to the Assistant Controller, this Exempt position demands precision and attention to detail.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Oversee daily cash flow management, including forecasting and optimizing cash balances.
  • Work with various business partners to continuously improve the quality and accuracy of cash forecasting.
  • Support initiatives to automate 13-week cash forecasting through TMS systems and cash reporting.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maintain optimal liquidity levels.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Develop and enforce treasury policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Assist in the management of treasury relationships with multiple banking institutions.
  • Lead the treasury month-end close process, including the review and accurate recording of weekly cash activity to the general ledger.
  • Maximize the use of available treasury management services while helping to negotiate pricing with our banking partners.
  • Administer and control access to bank accounts and payment systems, serving as primary administrator on online banking platforms, FX, and other treasury platforms. Identify and mitigate any potential risk related to online banking and payment processing.
  • Oversee connectivity and automation with ERP, TMS, and payment processing systems.
  • Utilize critical thinking to identify opportunities for growth and process improvement and have the ability to drive initiatives.
  • Prioritize safety by operating in a constant state of alertness and adherence to company quality, safety, and environmental guidelines, as well as employee handbook policies.
  • Flexibly undertake any additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of our finance operations.
Qualifications / Experience / Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CTP certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury. Experience within the downstream petroleum industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in treasury management systems and financial software.
  • Pass 7-year criminal background check.
