Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Implementations Engineer (integration engineer + project manager). In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring seamless integration between our systems and customer's third-party applications or platforms, e.g. enterprise resource platforms.

Additionally, you will be responsible for client-facing interactions, managing complex technical projects, ensuring successful delivery through shipping code, and aligning internal and external stakeholders with project goals.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, deep understanding of integration technologies, and best practices, along with strong client-facing experience and stakeholder management abilities.

What You'll Do
  • Lead end-to-end integration project management from inception to delivery, ensuring project objectives, timelines, and budgets are met.
  • Design, develop, and ship integration solutions that connect our systems with external systems, platforms, or services ensuring data synchronization and interoperability.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, product development, and sales to coordinate efforts and drive project success.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and effectively communicating project status and updates, and quickly iterating on the code.
  • Implement, configure, and maintain integration tools and middleware, facilitating seamless data flow.
  • Allocate and manage resources to meet evolving project requirements effectively.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Proven experience as an Integrations Engineer, Backend Engineer, or similar role, with additional experience in technical program management.
  • Strong programming skills in Node.js, React, and PostgreSQL.
  • Proficiency in integration technologies and tools such as ETL, iPaaS, middleware, message queues, and API gateways.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
