Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan for all of the machinery.
  • Provide mechanical expertise to the production team related to each machine's operation, cleaning, and use.
  • Ensure that each machine is functioning correctly and ready for production at the beginning of each workday.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and repair as needed and return to fabrication as quickly as possible.
  • Provide training to new employees for the safe operation of each assigned machine.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic schematics and diagrams, maintenance manuals
  • Ability to follow and enforce all safety protocols relating to the proper operation of machinery.
  • Must have reliable transportation and impeccable attendance history.
  • With experience in electrical circuits and controls
  • Be able to repair or replace motors, switches, etc.
  • PLC, frequency drive experience, and knowledge in using electrical schematics for machines diagnostics and repair
  • Candidate must provide toolbox and all hand tools required to perform assigned duties.
  • Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Provide verifiable work references demonstrating a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the mechanical/ industrial production industry.
  • Be able to pass a background check and a drug test. Random monthly drug tests will be ongoing throughout the company.
