Openwork is currently assisting our client in their recruitment efforts for an Assistant Chief Clerk/Custodian of Records.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive and process Open Records Requests from various entities including the District Attorney’s Office, Public Defender’s Office, County Attorney’s Office, Law Firms, Law Enforcement Agencies, Businesses, News Media, and Public Citizens.
  • Handle Court Subpoenas, Non-Routine Subpoenas, Public Information Acts, and Freedom of Information Act requests.
  • Process Mobile Video/Records Retention Request documents and coordinate with the Video Admin and Dispatch Manager.
  • Maintain a comprehensive filing system for all correspondence, offense reports, expunctions, subpoenas, and records management.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Patience and professionalism in dealing with sensitive information and requests.
