At Power4 Pilates, we are dedicated to helping people breathe, move, feel, and live better in their everyday lives. We are a high-volume, full-service Reformer Pilates Studio offering both group classes and private sessions. We offer 7 formats and 15 group classes daily, 7 days a week. As the Membership Counselor, you are focused on creating a positive experience by providing an exceptional level of customer service to both members and guests while actively contributing to sales efforts. You will also be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the studio and equipment. Reporting directly to the Assistant General Manager, the Membership Counselor supports the team in coordinating members and prospective members for classes and services. This position offers growth potential based on experience and performance. Weekend availability is required.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Greet members and guests with a warm welcome, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Engage in sales activities, including promoting membership options and packages to prospective members.
  • Follow opening and closing procedures depending on shift time.
  • Understand and interpret member accounts, including bookings and invoices.
  • Respond to customer service inquiries from members via text and email.
  • Assist with member and guest issues/escalations, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Complete cleaning responsibilities each shift, including maintaining floors, bathrooms, and equipment.
  • Organize and tidy areas of the studio during downtime.
  • Prepare cold towels throughout the day.
  • Assist the AGM with various tasks.
  • Attend weekly one-on-one meetings with the AGM.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • 1+ years of customer service experience.
  • A passion for fitness and health.
  • Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact positively and professionally with members and studio team members.
  • Sales experience, particularly in the fitness industry, is a plus.
  • Self-starter, problem solver, and able to multitask effectively.
