Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT/X-Ray Technologist to join our team in Tuscon, AZ. As a CT/X-Ray Technologist at Medical Imagery Solutions & Staffing, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care by performing diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and empathy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnostic Imaging: Perform CT and X-Ray imaging procedures following established protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Patient Care: Provide compassionate care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it is in proper working order and reporting any issues promptly.
  • Radiation Safety: Adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and self.
  • Image Quality: Produce high-quality diagnostic images by optimizing imaging parameters and techniques.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records, imaging reports, and other relevant documentation.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including radiologists, nurses, and physicians, to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis.
  • Continuing Education: Stay updated with the latest advancements in CT and X-Ray technology and techniques through ongoing education and training.

Qualifications:

  • Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT and X-Ray.
  • Current California state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety and patient care principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality images.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
