Role: Contract Hardware Engineer Mid

Location: Onsite role from day 1 at Plymouth, MN

Job description:

Note: This is similar to Analog/Mixed Signal IC design engineer role with SPECIAL FOCUS on below mentioned tools

What candidate will be doing:

  1. Build Requirements and architect analog/mixed-signal IC solutions spanning chip-level to cell-level considerations.
  2. Lead the design of ASIC I/O and supporting circuitry.
  3. Create, test, and release IBIS models for I/O associated circuits.
  4. Field customer questions regarding I/O configurations
  5. Design requirements spanning block definitions, schematic creation, and simulation.
  6. Accomplish Design integration, testing, analyses, and iteration.
  7. Plan, design-for, and enable radiation testing of microelectronic circuits.

Consultant will be using following tools and must possess below experience of tools:

  1. Synopsys Design Compiler
  2. Synopsys PrimeTime
  3. Synopsys DFT Compiler
  4. Synopsys IC Compiler
  5. Synopsys TetraMAX
  6. Siemens Tessent MemoryBIST
  7. Ansys Redhawk
  8. Synopsys IC Validator

Skills: What We Are Looking For:

  1. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  2. A minimum of 8 years of experience in Analog Mixed Signal Design.
  3. Experience with Siemens/Cadence IC design tools.
  4. Willingness to work onsite in Plymouth, MN.
  5. DDR3, PLL, or SerDes design experience.
  6. Knowledge of OS Linux, scripting languages e.g., Perl, Shell, TCL.
  7. Radiation effects analysis knowledge/experience.
  8. Advanced node and SOI technology design experience.
  9. Experience with Siemens Physical Verification tools and methods.
  10. Radiation effects analysis knowledge/experience.
