Roles and Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Forecasting:
- Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and long-term financial plans.
- Prepare financial forecasts and projections based on business trends and operational metrics.
- Analyze financial data and create models to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
Financial Analysis:
- Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement in financial performance.
- Provide recommendations to management based on financial analysis and projections.
Reporting:
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc financial reports for executive management and stakeholders.
- Present findings and analysis to management in a clear and concise manner.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and reports.
Business Partnering:
- Partner with various departments to understand their financial needs and provide analytical support.
- Assist in the evaluation of potential investments, projects, or acquisitions by performing financial due diligence.
- Support strategic initiatives through financial modeling and scenario analysis.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks through analysis and recommendations.
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings and audits.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of financial analysis and reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
- Solid understanding of financial statements and GAAP principles.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
