Job DescriptionJob DescriptionIT Business Architect – Atlanta, GA - Hybrid (2-3x/wk onsite)Expert Technical Solutions has an immediate opening for an IT Business Architect with one of our premier clients in Atlanta, GA. This is a full-time, permanent position offering excellent pay and benefits. We're in search of a skilled and seasoned Business Architect to join our Consumer Products IT team. As a Business Architect, your primary role will involve grasping business processes and requirements, pinpointing opportunities, and translating these insights into IT strategies and roadmaps to enhance our competitive edge. In this capacity, you'll serve as a trusted IT collaborator, closely liaising with senior IT and business executives.Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with stakeholders to grasp their needs, translate them into tech solutions that add value to customers, and yield tangible business results.
  • Evaluate the current state of business operations, identifying gaps, issues, and avenues for enhancement to bolster our competitiveness.
  • Propose specific tech solutions to support business objectives and strategies.
  • Contribute to shaping and executing the IT strategy.
  • Drive concepts toward feasibility, enabling scalable execution for profitability.
  • Offer insights into product and enterprise roadmaps, evaluating project proposals for business architecture alignment with strategy and enterprise architecture.
  • Aid in business strategy formulation, pinpointing new business capabilities and tech-driven prospects while ensuring IT strategy alignment. Define business and operational models to leverage new opportunities and achieve strategic aims.
  • Engage in architectural reviews and represent business architecture in presentations to the Architecture Review Board.
  • Develop business capability maps, value streams, information architectures, process models, data models, system diagrams, roadmaps, transition plans, and risk assessments.
Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Business Architecture or a related field.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4 HANA, however experience with another similar ERP may be acceptable – along with CPG industry experience.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and assessing a business's current state, business processes, and IT solutions, with a knack for spotting improvement opportunities.
  • Track record of collaborating with business leaders and IT teams to synchronize business strategies and technology solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Understanding of business strategy, operations, and IT systems.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture and its application in aligning business and IT objectives.
  • Experience with business architecture tools.
  • Knowledge/experience in the Consumer Products Industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience and familiarity with SAP S/4.
  • Certification in business architecture such as CBA® or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with the BIZBOK framework and methodologies.
