CompuRay Medical is looking for a passionate and dedicated Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in the vibrant city of Chicago, IL. We believe in doing things differently by focusing on you and your career journey every step of the way.

About the Role:

As an IR Technologist, you'll play a critical role in helping patients through minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. You will operate fluoroscopic equipment, assist physicians, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the process. You will also prepare and monitor patients, reporting any abnormalities to ensure the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Confirm patient identity and explain procedures, providing reassurance and support.
  • Assist in all diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Monitor patients throughout procedures to ensure their safety.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of radiation protection and medical imaging.
  • Operate advanced imaging equipment and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Utilize the McKesson PACS system effectively.

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 1 year of recent acute care experience.
  • Certification in BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (VI or CI), plus any state-specific licenses.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
