Company Overview:

Back to Basics Learning Dynamics (B2B) is a premier education services provider offering a wide range of services, including 1-on-1 tutoring, translating and interpreting, speech and occupational therapists, reading specialists, psycho-educational testing, and test prep for the SAT & ACT. 

Back to Basics Learning Dynamics has a contracted SLP position available for the 2024-2025 school year in a school setting. Working 15 hours per week in the Wilmington, DE area.

Position: SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST - SLP 
 

Job Description:  The key role is to identify students with a communication disorder that may adversely affect a child's educational performance as well as address the communication needs of students who have been identified as needing Speech-Language services.

Duties

  • Provide therapy 1:1 or small group services.
  • Assess students to identify potential communication needs including articulation, expressive/receptive, pragmatic language, and swallowing.
  • Write evaluation reports.
  • Generate and implement and monitor individualized educational programs.
  • Plan and provide services for students with speech language impairment as well as students with various disabilities qualifying for speech as a related service.
  • Maintain case records for students including service logs, progress monitoring, and goal reporting.
  • Collaborate and consult with parents, teachers, and other school staff.


Requirements

  • Contracted position - 1099 - must possess an active Delaware business license.
  • Ability to work in person. 
  • Available to work between the hours of 8:00 am to 2:30 pm,, flexible scheduling up to 15 hours a week
  • Must possess a Delaware license to provide SLP services in this state. 
  • Must have a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a school setting, providing SLP services. 
  • Must have good communication skills. 
  • Be a team player - The individual will be working regularly with school administration, special education director, and school faculty. 
  • Must have exceptional time management skills
