Job Summary: The FP&A Analyst is responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning and analysis to support strategic decision-making and drive business performance. This role involves analyzing financial data, preparing forecasts and budgets, and providing insights and recommendations to enhance financial management and business strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and trend analysis to support business decisions.
  • Assist in the development and management of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
  • Prepare and present regular financial reports, including financial statements, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
  • Analyze and consolidate financial data from various sources to provide accurate and timely information for decision-making.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand financial performance, identify opportunities for cost savings, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Identify and implement improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to assess the financial impact of different business strategies and decisions.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and modeling to support special projects, strategic initiatives, and management requests.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations, and support audit processes as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master's or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis; strong Excel skills; experience with financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion, SAP BPC) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Understanding of business operations and financial principles, with the ability to link financial performance to business outcomes.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
