Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Interim HealthCare is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Pathologist (therapist) to join our team  The ideal candidate will have experience working with elementary and/or high school-aged students and possess a strong understanding of speech and language development. As a Speech Pathologist (therapist), you will play a crucial role in helping our students overcome speech and language challenges, enabling them to communicate effectively and participate fully in classroom activities. Required times; 8:00AM-3:30PM will extend through 2025 school year, with a payscale of $60.00- $65.00/HR.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication skills of preschool-aged children.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address speech and language delays or disorders.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students both individually and in group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' speech and language development in the classroom and at home.
  • Monitor and track student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff on strategies to facilitate language-rich environments and promote communication skills development.
  • Stay up to date on best practices and research in the field of speech pathology.

A few must-haves for Home Health Speech-Language Pathologists:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active SLP license in NH
  • Minimum of 1 years of speech therapy experience, ideally in home healthcare
  • CPR certification 
  • Knowledge of state health regulations
  • Good clinical judgement, critical thinking skills, strong communicator, empathy and compassion
