We are seeking an experienced IT manager to manage our technology infrastructure and applications. We are a leading manufacturer and retailer of high-quality wood and metal buildings. The company has grown rapidly in recent years and has plans to continue expansion. We need a highly qualified candidate to take our IT function to the next level.


The IT Manager will help improve and maintain essential IT operations, including ERP systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration.

2. Support ERP system implementation and administration.

3. Enable faster and smarter business processes and implement analytics for meaningful insights.

4. Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities.

5. Perform server administration tasks and maintain internal infrastructure requirements.

6. Manage 3rd party network administrator to achieve agreed-upon service levels related to helpdesk, network uptime, data, and system security.

7. Track and maintain hardware and software inventory.

8. Partner with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, with a proven track record of success

3. Strong understanding of IT strategy and project management

4. Experience with manufacturing ERP system implementation and maintenance.

5. Excellent leadership and team management skills

6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills

7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

8. Knowledge of data security and risk management principles

9. Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems; current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching.

10. Experience in project management, application integrations and cloud computing.
