Bayview Physicians Services, one of the fastest growing medical groups in Virginia has an exciting, full time opportunity for a X-Ray Technologist within our Urgent Care centers. If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding career, consider the opportunities that Bayview Physicians Services has to offer Starting pay ranging from $30-$34/ hour based on experience.

Scope:

Perform all radiological procedures as requested and as needed. Provides patient care and insures patient safety from radiation hazards.

Reports To:

Department Supervisor and Physicians

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assures all physician requests for services are rendered in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assists in quality assurance monitoring.
  • Assures all rooms are stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Cleans equipment after each patient
  • Obtains prior mammogram films from outside facilities for comparison
  • Makes sure that all necessary information is recorded properly.
  • Answers all telephone calls
  • Assists receptionist by scheduling patients for x-ray procedures and gives special instructions to patients as needed.
  • Maintains annual compliance education.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor and physicians.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Presents to work on time as scheduled.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist preferred.
  • Virginia license
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registration:
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist preferred.
  • CPR certification

Job Type: Full-time
