Zilliant is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Engineering team.  As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work with a variety of technologies including React, Node.js, DynamoDB, Force.com, and multiple web/SaaS technologies. The ideal candidate should possess great organization and communication skills, enjoy taking ownership of key features, and possess a love of problem-solving. 

What You’ll Do:
  • Designing and implementing software from stated requirements and ongoing iterations
  • Collaborating with architects and backend engineers to design product features and identify frontend requirements
  • Providing mentoring and technical guidance for teammates
  • Contributing a strong voice to team technical discussions, including grooming and planning
What You Won’t Do:
  • Get bored – this is not a ‘maintenance mode’ role but rather one of ingenuity and collaboration across functions and leaders
  • Feel like a number – this is a highly visible role that will shape and communicate solutions to our clients
  • Sit idle – you’ll work amongst an action-oriented bunch who consistently strive for progress and process improvement
Who You Are:
  • An independent thinker who can develop and deliver compelling software solutions to a broad set of project stakeholders
  • A dynamic problem-solver with strong analytical skills 
  • A superior communicator with proven client facilitation skills, whether meeting virtually, or via in person
What You’ll Need:
  • 5+ years of development experience with React or a similar JavaScript framework (e.g. Angular)
  • Experience with REST based web services
  • Strong object-oriented development skills
  • Experience developing high performing software components with large data sets and an understanding of algorithmic complexity
  • Experience with the Amazon Web Service stack, including EC2, DynamoDB, and CodePipeline is a plus
  • Microservice experience, including Docker, and continuous integration technologies is a plus
  • Server development experience using Node.js is a plus
  • Experience with UI/UX design is a plus
  • Experience mentoring others in software development best practices including unit testing, code reviews, and API documentation
