We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Individuals to join our team as a relief substitute Curriculum and Professional Development Specialist.
AWARE Early Head Start provides children with services that encourage and promote social, emotional, physical growth and development, and cognitive skills. Learning is designed to respond to the individual strengths and needs of each child.

Responsibilities:
- Ensures consistency and equity of instruction across the district.
- Offers reports and updates to assigned supervisors.
- Provides leadership, collaboration and coordination for curriculum implementation and partnership communications.
- Plan and provide educational information and staff development opportunities to meet the needs of staff, family child care providers, families, and children served.

Requirements:Excited to join our organization?AWARE's Curriculum and Professional Development Specialists earn $22.50 per hour.Talents, skills, and abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Requires at least two (2) years of employment experience working in curriculum development and/or employment and training programs with a demonstrated knowledge of program planning, early childhood assessment and family systems.
- Requires good oral and written communication skills and an ability to form professional relationships with a diverse group of people.
- Requires computer literacy skills, including the ability to navigate, record, and overall basic computer skills needed for performance-based software as well as an electronic medical records system.
- Requires a BS/BA Degree in Early Curriculum Development, Education or a related field, in addition to direct employment related experience.
