As a Technical Sales professional, you will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Provide innovative solutions to customers by identifying and responding promptly to their needs, resulting in the development and growth of customer accounts.
  • Product and solution technologies will include the categories: Motion Control, Power Transmission, Safety Sensors, Vision, Hydraulics, and Pneumatics.
  • Establish long-term business relationships with customers through direct, person-to-person interaction.
  • Develop those relationships through consultative selling that assesses and solves their application needs using our products and services.
  • Plan and perform customer sales calls, assess customer needs, prepare customer quotes, close orders, and follow up on all related activities.
  • Provide coverage of assigned accounts and build strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Inform customers of available products by anticipating their needs and introducing new products.
  • Develop a deeper knowledge of Morrell products on a continuous basis by attending related training sessions to enhance sales and presentation skills.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Customer-Centric Solutions: Identify and promptly respond to customer needs, delivering innovative solutions that foster the development and growth of customer accounts.
  • Building Relationships: Cultivate lasting business relationships with customers through personal interactions, demonstrating a consultative approach to address their application needs using our products and services.
  • Sales Excellence: Plan and execute customer sales calls, assess customer requirements, generate customer quotes, facilitate order closures, and diligently follow up on all related activities.
  • Account Management: Maintain and nurture assigned accounts while building strong rapport with new and existing customers.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on our extensive product offerings, which encompass Motion Control, Power Transmission, Safety Sensors, Vision, Hydraulics, and Pneumatics, by participating in relevant training sessions to enhance your sales and presentation skills.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative team environment by assisting fellow colleagues and sharing knowledge.
  • Workplace Safety: Ensure a clean and safe working environment while optimizing space utilization.
  • Adaptable Responsibilities: Be prepared to take on additional duties as assigned to contribute to the success of our team.

Assigned Territory: Included but not limited to North East to include ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT.


Requirements:

  • Education: A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1-5 years of industry experience.
