Behavioral Health Associates (BHA) is an educational organization.  We offer an academic learning environment integrated with behavior support services for students diagnosed with emotional/behavioral disorders to empower the students in overcoming challenges and creating new stories in their lives.

 

We currently have openings for Transportation Aides.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  • Assist driver in transporting students safely to and home from school.
  • Must comply with all state and local transportation laws and regulations and implement D.O.T safe driving requirements.
  • Demonstrate the ability to follow directions.
  • Must be able to assist students entering and exiting the vehicle.
  • Will be responsible to monitor and supervise the behavior of the student in the vehicle and report any incidents of behavior to the Program Director.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Will help to maintain a clean school vehicle.
  • Will complete other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS       

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (G.E.D.)
  • Experience working with children/students, preferred
  • Utilizes effective written and oral expression
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, stoop, sit, lift, and reach in order to perform essential duties and responsibilities
  • Valid Driver’s License, preferred
  • Must provide successful and continued renewal of required clearances
