Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Director with specialized knowledge in fleet management to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our procurement processes, including focusing on fleet vehicles and related equipment, to support our operational efficiency and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives in a multi-branch, Southeast US pest control territory.
• Oversee the purchasing of fleet vehicles, equipment, and supplies while ensuring cost-efficiency and quality standards are met.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, vendors, and service providers to secure advantageous terms behind the scale of the company.
• Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to maintain strong vendor relationships and optimize procurement processes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as operations, finance, and maintenance teams to streamline procurement workflows and support overall business operations.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements related to fleet management and pest control industry.
• Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Procurement Director or similar role, with a strong emphasis on multi-site locations and fleet management within the pest control or related industries.
• Deep understanding of procurement best practices, strategic sourcing, and contract negotiation.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions to optimize procurement strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing procurement team.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) and knowledge of ERP systems are a plus.
