Job Title: Director of Marketing Operations

Location: Remote

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a strategic and dynamic Director of Marketing Operations to lead their marketing communications efforts and drive brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty. In this role, the Director will also oversee marketing operations to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with business goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing communications, brand management, and marketing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic marketing communications plans to support overall business objectives and brand positioning.

• Lead a team of marketing communications professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive results.

• Manage the creation and execution of integrated marketing communications campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, PR, events, and content marketing.

• Oversee the development of compelling messaging and creative assets that resonate with our target audience and effectively communicate our brand values and product benefits.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, digital marketing, sales, call-center, and operations, to ensure alignment and integration of marketing communications initiatives.

• Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing communications campaigns and optimize strategies for maximum impact.

• Lead marketing operations initiatives to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance collaboration across marketing functions.

• Develop and maintain marketing operations frameworks, systems, and tools to support campaign planning, execution, and measurement.

• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across marketing systems and platforms.

• Partner with IT and other departments to implement and integrate marketing technology solutions: email, social, SMS, Back-office, APP, etc.

• Stay abreast of industry trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.

• Crisis communications: Oversee and develop plans and tactical communication responsive to immediate needs and long-term objectives, as well as communications related to crisis management and response; lead strategic communications efforts managing reputational issues and ensuring crisis preparedness in partnership with Senior Leadership.

• Internal communications: ensure vital partners are in the know of across the organization

• Champion sustainability initiatives and ensure that our marketing communications efforts align with our commitment to environmental responsibility.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field; MBA preferred.

• 8+ years of experience in marketing communications and operations roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position, and 2 years of direct sales experience.

• Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing communications strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth.

• Strong storytelling abilities and creative thinking skills, with a passion for developing compelling narratives and content.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and messages to diverse audiences.

• Deep understanding of digital marketing, social media, PR, and content marketing best practices and trends.

• Experience in marketing operations, including campaign management, process improvement, and marketing technology implementation.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
