We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal with office coordinator duties to support our firm in our Vienna, VA office. We are seeking a candidate who has both knowledge and interest in litigation, can simultaneously manage a large variety of assignments, and works quickly and effectively under pressure. This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to maintaining a professional, organized, and efficient office space.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of legal documents, including pleadings, affidavits, and motions with attorney guidance.
- Organize and manage case files, deadlines, and attorney calendars.
- Conduct legal research.
- Summarize and analyze legal documents to support case preparation.
- Communicate with clients to gather information and provide case updates.
- Assist in the preparation of trial materials.
- Provide support during trial proceedings, including organizing documents and managing logistics.
- Provide Tysons office management and staff support.
- Serve as the Tysons coordinator for internal office meetings/events, support onsite vendor visits, office maintenance, and on-site staffing coordination.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an accredited program.
- 1-3 years of experience preferred.
- Proficiency in legal research, document management, and case management software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
