Position Summary:

An executive couple with a residence in Palm Beach has a long-tenured Housekeeper who is retiring this summer. They would like to hire an outstanding private service Housekeeper to join their exceptional team and perform the daily hands-on cleaning of their home.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Estate Manager, the housekeepers are responsible for the general and specialty cleaning of the home, including care of fine materials and surfaces, performing a daily walkthrough, following a cleaning schedule, and answering the phones and door with professional courtesy. The successful candidate will happily assist the Chef with simple breakfast items and table service and be a considerate team player. The team shares rotating responsibility for weekend walkthroughs in the offseason.

Qualifications:

Must have prior experience working as a housekeeper in a fine home for a private employer. Exceptional hands-on cleaning, the ability to read the room, and a willingness to embrace the rhythms of the home and principals are critical. The ideal candidate is seeking a long-term opportunity. Great for a Chief Stew or Yachty

Schedule:

This is a full-time role, Sunday - Thursday (Sundays are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm and weekdays are either 8:00 am to 4:00 pm or 10:00 am to 6:00 pm). Flexibility needed for occasional evening hours to assist with entertaining. During the offseason (June - October) the housekeepers enjoy a lighter schedule, Monday – Friday, with no change in compensation.

Compensation:

Compensation of $35-$45/hour offered, depending on experience, with excellent benefits (including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) and paid time off).
