Tennessee Distilling Group is a distiller of traditional Tennessee Whiskey, American Bourbon, Rye, Corn, and Single Malt Whiskeys. We provide our brand partners across North America and around the world with new-make laydown whiskey, aged whiskey, contract storage, contract bottling, and private label/exclusive brand programs. Located in Columbia, Tennessee – just a one-hour drive south of Nashville, Tennessee Distilling Group operations encompass three production campuses spanning over 150 acres with 2 independent distillery operations, a dedicated food-grade contract bottling facility, and contract storage warehouses for over 400,000 barrels.

THE BASICS

Our 1st Shift Maintenance Technician works mornings from 6:00 am - 3:00 pm. You ensure that our equipment and structures are fully functional. Every morning, you arrive on campus ready to tackle electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and pneumatic tasks. As directed by your lead, you perform preventative maintenance and repair equipment. You effectively prioritize your time as you work on grain systems, inspect vehicles, perform water testing, clean regulators, and complete other duties while following all safety standards. Proactively, you also identify and address potential mechanical and electrical issues.

Here's what we're looking for:

  • 2+ years of on-the-job industrial maintenance experience OR a relevant certification
  • Electrical, pneumatic, and basic PLC (programmable logic controller) experience
  • Working knowledge of welding, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical tasks with an ability to work on controls, boilers, and steam systems
  • Proficiency with basic hand tools, pumps, PLC controls, plumbing systems, and electrical panels
  • Computer proficiency and ability to use a preventative maintenance program
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to analyze information and make data-driven decisions
  • Team spirit, time management skills, and ability to work independently
