Job Duties
- The Apprentice Operator- Passive (AO-P) shall perform 24/7 operational support to the government by performing tasks required to search, detect, identify, intercept, and locate signals of interest using the most appropriate sensor and passive geolocation technique available.
- Perform real-time geolocation and collection operations
- Provide geolocations, report and database results
Required Skills:
- US Citizens Only
- Active TS/SCI Clearance and Polygraph required
- Minimum of two (2) years of operational experience within the last five (5) years in collection or geolocation
- Experience conducting RF collection and/or Direction Finding operations
Desired Qualifications:
- One (1) of the following certifications
- NSAG Geolocation Qualification Course
- SCE Airborne Collection Operator Certification
- Experience with the following technologies
- Real-time RF COMINT collection (Airborne, Space borne, Terrestrial, NTM)
- Manual, automatic, and/or synthetic Time/Frequency Difference of Arrival (T/FDOA) geolocation operations of COMINT emitters
- Multi-aperture Direction Finding
- Formal training and/or demonstrated proficiency as a linguist in one of the following languages is highly desired:
- Arabic Levantine (AP)
- Arabic Yemeni (AU)
- Arabic Iraqi (DG)
- Arabic Maghrebi (AM)
- Persian Farsi (PF)
- Pashto (PU)
- Russian (RU)
- Chinese Mandarin (CM)
- Korean (KO)
