PURPOSE
Serve as the face of the company, seeking to develop and preserve relationships that generates Choice Management tenants. Must be intentional and display excellence while adding value to client experience.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Represent Choice Management in a positive and professional manner in and outside the company.
- Follow and embrace the Choice Management leasing process that encourages repeat tenants and referrals.
- Effectively nurture your prospects and tenants in ways that enhance customer service/satisfaction.
- Convert prospects into tenants by following up and updating leads.
- Professionally answer emails and phone calls and respond to all communication in a timely manner.
- Schedule tours and professionally showcase properties to prospective tenants.
- Assist with marketing to ensure marketing strategy and leasing goals are in step.
- Write leases and manage monthly lease renewals.
- Process work orders, make readies and move outs for properties.
- Communicate with Property Manager to approve Vendors or Maintenance on properties.
- Schedule annual property inspections and conduct move-in/move-out inspections.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE EXPECTATIONS
- Experience: One years’ experience as a Leasing Professional in Property Management with a proven track record. Knowledge of virtual and in-person community tours.
- Relational: Exceptional customer service and relationship building skills.
- Energetic: Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Inquisitive: Always ask questions; discover the needs of those you want to serve.
- Knowledgeable: Superior marketing skills with a familiarity with the Johnson County market.
- Self-manage: Superior organizational skills and time management skills.
- Great communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Advanced working knowledge of social media outlets.
- Professional: Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Growth Mindset: Be open and prepared to grow professionally within the team as well as the overall company
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Works in temperature-controlled environment.
- Vision for near, mid-range, far and accommodation. Hearing for low, medium, and high pitch.
- Requires physical ability for standing, sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, reaching above head and below waist.
- Position requires individual to travel to locations away from the Sales Center to show and tour homes with prospective Choice Management tenants.
- Must be able to perform all job expectations safely with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Ability to lift 5-10 pounds without assistance.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
The Leasing Agent reports to the Property Manager.
JOB HOURS & PAY
- Full-time position.
- 40 hours per week. 9am to 5pm M-F, occasional Saturdays.
- Must have reliable transportation to/from work.
