C2409: Payroll/HRIS Analyst

The Payroll/HRIS Analyst will be responsible for assisting in the management and supervision of the payroll process, effectively resolving issues, ensuring payroll progresses to accurate outcomes, while maintaining confidentiality. This position will be responsible ensuring accuracy in payroll processing, transmitting all electronic and wire payments, responsible for the reconciliation of the payroll processing, bank accounts, and payroll general ledger accounts.


In addition, the Payroll/HRIS Analyst is a liaison between the client areas and information systems with an emphasis on the Ceridian Dayforce and Payroll systems. They analyze, plan, develop, and manage/coordinate business process and/or technology system improvements surrounding these HRIS business systems. The Payroll/HRIS Analyst solves problems, identifies root cause improvements, and provides customers training and guidance. They provide customer support for existing HRIS systems and interact with technology providers to ensure effective system operations.


This position will be shared resource with the People Systems/Safety Team utilizing this role for project-based needs.


This position reports to the Payroll Manager with a dotted line to the Director of Team Member Resources.


Role Description and Job Accountabilities:


Qualifications:

  • Possess the appropriate educational experience or job-related experience to perform the role
  • Proficient in GAAP accounting
  • Effectively manages multiple tasks at once and can solve problems in an efficient manner,
  • Ability to focus on accuracy of details, while understanding the impact from a big picture perspective
  • Proficiency in Infinium and Microsoft Excel, Access and Work
  • Demonstrated skill in planning, prioritizing, organizing, and managing multiple projects or tasks simultaneously and ability to adhere to strict deadlines
  • Relevant experience doing HRIS specific functions for manufacturing companies
  • Experience in executing the entire system development lifecycle with special emphasis in requirements definition, and technical architecture definition, testing, and training

Required Skills:

  • Three to five years of Payroll experience
  • Direct hands-on experience troubleshooting and supporting Ceridian Dayforce.
  • Direct experience interfacing Dayforce with other ERP systems for time tracking and relevant General Ledger entries.
