Position Overview:
Northside Charter High School is currently seeking qualified and enthusiastic Math Teachers for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and contributing to the overall academic success of our students.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver effective math instruction in alignment with the school's curriculum.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and create a supportive learning environment.
Implement a variety of assessment strategies to measure student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance instructional practices.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in math education.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
New York State certification in Secondary Mathematics Education preferred
Strong knowledge of the subject matter and a passion for teaching.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and students.
Experience:
Previous teaching experience at the high school level is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with diverse teaching methodologies and technology integration.
