Position: IOT Software Engineer

Our Client, a leading technology company in the Charlotte area, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IOT Software Engineer to join their growing team. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits and opportunities for career growth.

As an IOT Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions for our client's Internet of Things (IOT) products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software applications that enable the seamless integration of IOT devices into our client's ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for IOT products

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications

- Develop and implement software applications for IOT devices

- Troubleshoot and debug software issues

- Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality and best practices are followed

- Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in IOT development

- Participate in the entire software development life cycle, from concept to deployment

- Document software designs, processes, and procedures

- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, preferably in IOT

- Strong programming skills in languages such as C++, Java, or Python

- Experience with IOT platforms and protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, or Zigbee

- Familiarity with cloud computing and data analytics

- Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Experience with Agile development is a plus

- Passion for emerging technologies and a desire to continuously learn and improve
