Job Description:

The Senior Financial Analyst - Risk Management at Augmentjobs plays a pivotal role in assessing, analyzing, and mitigating financial risks across the organization. This position requires a deep understanding of financial analysis, risk management strategies, and regulatory compliance. The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and compliance, to ensure that the company's financial practices are robust and aligned with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Assessment and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments on financial processes, investments, and business operations. Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to predict potential risks and evaluate the impact of various financial scenarios.

  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed risk reports, presenting findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders. Ensure that all risk management documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, FRM) is preferred.

  • Experience: 6 to 8 years of experience in financial analysis, risk management, or a related field, with a proven track record of identifying and mitigating financial risks.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in financial modeling, risk assessment tools, and data analysis software. Advanced Excel skills are required; familiarity with risk management software is a plus.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify trends and risks.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all risk assessments and financial analyses.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and industry standards related to risk management.

  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification: Certified Financial Analyst (CFA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), or similar certification.
