What You Will Do:

  • Lead and Innovate: Contribute your ideas and expertise to guide the direction of project teams.
  • Develop and Implement: Design and prototype state-of-the-art software applications within an agile development environment.
  • Performance Analysis: Utilize high-fidelity modeling and simulation tools, coupled with innovative analysis techniques, to quantify and enhance the effectiveness of our technology.
  • Customer Engagement: Work closely with clients to tailor solutions that meet their specific requirements, ensuring exceptional outcomes.

Recommended Background and Experience:

  • Degrees Preferred: B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Applied or Computational Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Controls and Dynamical Systems, Statistics, or related fields.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in C/C++, Python, JavaScript, Julia, and Matlab. Experience with full-stack web development, including AngularJS and Node.js. Familiarity with big data technologies and database systems.
  • Proven Experience: Demonstrated capabilities in software engineering, algorithm implementation, software analysis, and optimization. Knowledge in machine learning and applied mathematics.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Software Design and Development: Demonstrate ability to design scalable and robust software solutions.
  • Advanced Programming Skills: Proficient in C/C++, Python, and JavaScript, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Machine Learning and Data Analysis: Experience in developing and implementing machine learning algorithms and performing complex data analysis.
  • Applied Mathematics: Strong background in mathematics, including expertise in differential equations, linear algebra, and statistical methods.
  • Full-Stack Development: Capable of developing and managing both front-end and back-end components of web applications.
  • Agile Development Practices: Experienced in Agile methodologies, with a proven track record of working in fast-paced development teams.
  • Software Testing and Optimization: Skilled in testing methodologies and performance optimization of software systems.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of tackling complex technical challenges.
  • Team Collaboration and Leadership: Ability to lead projects and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Security Clearance Eligibility: Must be a U.S. citizen capable of obtaining a U.S. Security Clearance, with a clean criminal record and no history of illegal drug use.
  • GitHub and Version Control: Familiarity with using version control systems, particularly GitHub, for source code management.
  • Database Technologies: Knowledge of NoSQL and other database technologies, with the ability to design and manage databases.
  • Digital Signal Processing: Understanding of digital signal processing techniques and applications.
  • Controls and Estimation Theory: Background in controls and estimation theory, with practical application experience.
  • Innovative Problem-Solving Techniques: Creative thinking and innovative problem-solving skills to develop unique solutions to technical challenges.
