Job description
Full Time positions for Mill/Lathe Setup Operators/Operators. Candidate will oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee and coordinate machining operations and activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion
• Loan and unload equipment and materials
• Be able to setup/operate CNC FANUC control
• Precise setting of all tool offsets
• Must have mathematical skills for calculating set-up requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry
• Set up and operate machines with little or no supervision
• Able to read and understand Engineering drawings/blueprint
• Able to plan machining process, Study work orders, drawings, materials, specifications, and machine capabilities
• Interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) and read drawings
• Must be familiar with G-Code machine language
• Able to design and build set up fixturing
• Maintain general shop safety and cleanliness
• Provide innovative solutions to improve plant efficiency
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on machines

Qualifications:
• Previous experience in plant operations or other related fields
• Familiarity with plant tools and equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Ability to oversee physical workload
• 4 & 5-axis CNC Horizontal Setup
• Knowledge of FANUC controls
• Functional and Technical Skills
• Attention to Detail

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
