Job Description:
We are seeking a refined and trained Water Mitigation Technician with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate will have experience in mitigation and restoration, computer skills, and preferably hold IICRC certification. This role involves working closely with customers, demonstrating honesty and integrity, and performing physically demanding tasks, including the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Responsibilities:
- Assess water damage in residential and commercial properties.
- Develop and implement mitigation plans, including water extraction, drying, and dehumidification.
- Utilize and maintain specialized equipment for water mitigation.
- Accurately document work performed and communicate with customers and insurance adjusters using several required industry software.
- Maintain a high level of customer service, addressing customer concerns and providing clear explanations of the work being performed.
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure the safety of the work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in mitigation and restoration.
- Strong computer skills for documentation and communication purposes.
- IICRC certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on honesty and integrity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
