This position is primarily responsible to develop and support Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to individuals who have a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder and are under the age of 21. The basic core services consist of observing and evaluating behavior, and then developing ABA interventions and a behavior support plan to teach skills to enable the individual to more readily integrate with typically developing peers. This position is responsible to assess skills, develop goal plans, train staff and parents, complete functional assessments and behavior intervention plans for children and adults, which would include training and monitoring. This position will also provide supervision to Behavior Technicians and trainees pursing licensure in the field as applicable.

This position requires a Bachelors or Masters degree along with appropriate state licensure BCaBC or BCBA, as well as a valid Michigan driver's license.

This is a part time position, up to 32 hours per week. Pay range is $21 - $35 per hour; depending on licensure and experience.

Newaygo County Mental Health (Newaygo CMH) is a comprehensive service provider for Mental Health services in Newaygo County. Newaygo CMH is located in White Cloud, Michigan "Where the North Begins and the Pure Waters Flow". We are just a 50 minute drive North of Grand Rapids or Muskegon. We are also a 30 minute drive from Big Rapids and just over 1 hour drive from Ludington.

Newaygo CMH provides paid training for clinicians to obtain certification in EBPs such as EMDR, DBT, TF-CBT, and CAADC. Along with paid training, we offer on-site licensure supervision, as well as intense clinical supervision with experienced supervisors, are who are extremely competent, compassionate, and have extensive knowledge working with the client population as well as in the CMH system.
