SUMMARY

The Busser will oversee the dining room area to ensure a clean, sanitary stock of dishware, glasses, and utensils. The Busser will ensure the dining area is properly clean, along with the till area and pick-up order area. Clearing and disinfecting tables, assisting with taking dishware to dish pit, polishing, and rolling silverware.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•Prepares tableware for washing, i.e., scrapes plates, bowls, and cups, pre-soak silverware, places all ware items to be washed in proper totes.

•Cleans, wipes off and sanitizes dining tables.

•Wipes down salt, pepper shakers, as well as condiment bottles such as ketchup, mustard, honey, and syrup bottles.

•Maintains a positive restaurant culture.

•Prepares dining tables for set-up.

•Maintains a clean, sanitary work area and ensures that staff members follow proper sanitation procedures.

•Removes garbage from kitchen area to proper storage area.

•Keeps dining room floors clean, as well as dining areas. (Sweeps, mops, and vacuums)

•Distributes clean dishware to appropriate areas.

•Greets guests in a friendly manner, smiling and with an upbeat attitude.

•Assist with seating arrangements, including moving tables and chairs.

•Promotes a clean, safe, and healthy working environment for employees and guests.

•Promptly reports all concerns to Supervisor.

•Follows company safety and security policies and procedures. Reports accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.

•Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing proper uniform.

Comply with all property and department policies, practices, and procedures.

Contribute to a safe work environment through compliance with established safety guidelines, identifying potential safety hazards, and reporting same to the appropriate person for proper resolution.

Maintain a professional department, company, and community reputation.

•Ensure that operation of equipment, tools, and materials, are handled in a safe manner.

•Follows proper service procedures as outlined in the training manual pertaining to the food service outlet serving in.

•Must be able to pass a complete background investigation.

•Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol screening.

•Must be able to obtain and maintain Food Handlers certification within 90-days of employment.

This job operates in a public work environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases too loud.
