Our client, a Bank, is looking to hire a Universal Bankers

Full Time - Direct Hire (Maple Grove and Monticello, MN)

***Fully On-site. Not Remote Position.

Position Summary: The bank seeks a Universal Banker to assist customers in achieving financial goals through personalized solutions and exceptional service. Responsibilities include managing consumer and business accounts, loan administration, and providing administrative support.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Build and expand business relationships by offering financial guidance and cross-selling bank products.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and actively promote digital banking options.
  • Find creative solutions to meet customer needs and personalize their experience.
  • Process transactions accurately and timely to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Open/close various accounts, provide administrative support to Loan Officers, and resolve customer inquiries.
  • Stay updated on personal banking products, regulations, and trends.
  • Protect the bank's assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Additional Duties for Full-Service Branch:

  • Perform teller transactions as needed to support customer needs.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivation, resourcefulness, and effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations, procedures, and operations.
  • Previous experience as a Universal Banker or Personal Banker preferred.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in banking.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or college degree preferred.
  • Previous client service and cash handling experience required.
  • Proficiency in computer programs including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with banking software preferred.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of lending, loan administration, credit policies, and consumer lending.
  • Certification or membership in relevant associations (e.g., NMLS, notary).
  • Willingness to stay updated on industry certifications.

This is a full-time, in-person position at the Maple Grove and Monticello LPO/DPO locations, and for the Maple Grove location, with occasional travel to Greater Minneapolis for training and business purposes.
