Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOD Grinder: Rockford, ILOur client in Rockford, Illinois is looking for a hard-working, energetic individual to join their team as a CNC Machinist who specializes in Mazatrol programming. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the precision grinding process including wheel selection and offsets and ability to perform close tolerance work.Responsibilities of the OD Grinder:
  • Setting up and operating CNC OD/ID grinders.
  • Analyzing prints.
  • Operating additional machines as needed.
OD Grinder Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Must have experience measuring finish ground components using typical manual inspection tools and be able to apply shop mathematical concepts.
  • Must have the ability to read customer blueprints and understand dimensioning and tolerances.
  • Ability to work from print and manufacturing process documentation.
  • Ability to perform quality checks.
  • Familiarity machine tools and equipment.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Experience working with OD and Surface Grinders preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
Pay for OD Grinder: $18.50+/hour based on experience. OD Grinder Benefits:
