Cloud Engineer (Direct Hire/Contract) - Chantilly, VA

Our client, represented by The Maven Group, seeks a dynamic Cloud Engineer to join their team in Chantilly, VA. As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and implementing cloud solutions while ensuring security and scalability. This position offers the flexibility of either a direct hire or contracting option, providing candidates with the opportunity to choose the engagement model that suits them best.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and deploy cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and services.
  • Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment and maintenance processes.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud environments for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with a CI Poly.
  • Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
