Pre-Press Production Representative

Working as part of our prepress team to ensure that our customer’s weekly bulletin is printed to their satisfaction and also in a timely manner. Assists the supervisor in manufacturing processes and maintaining client relationships, utilizing knowledge of equipment, procedures, and specifications.

• Processes and formats church bulletins to the clients’ specifications.
• Updating and creating files (special covers, cover changes, information pages).
• Converting files from RGB to CMYK. Making color corrections if needed.
• Imposes bulletin pages and other publications using Adobe Acrobat and Quite imposing.
• Assists customers with supported applications – Print IT, Word, Publisher, Email
• Proofread final documents and any additional materials (i.e. bulletin copy, special or weekly covers).
• Sends jobs to the digital printer for different channel publications.
• Creating digital copies to be used for web posting
• Answers all questions concerning a product or service, with appropriate referrals where required.
• Maintains the quality control procedures needed to complete a business day’s work without errors.
• Maintains a professional relationship with all departments to ensure a proper communication flow.
• Speaks with clients concerning copy, including modifications, layout concerns, and special requests.
• Answers telephone, conveys messages, and performs miscellaneous duties.
• Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned.
