Tool Maker
Responsibilities:
- Read and understand detail drawings and assembly drawings, including knowledge of GD&T
- Progressive Die setup, testing, and qualifying runoff experience
- Ability to read and work from blueprints and sketches to create or modify tools, dies, jigs, and molds.
- 2 years grinding experience.
- Set up and operate complex, precision machining jobs with minimal supervision.
- Ensure all standard quality procedures are followed such as machine set-up, operation, inspection, documentation and material handling
- Maintain clean, organized and safe work environment following all safety standards and requirements
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks as required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED
- Finish surface grinding experience, ID/OD Grinder experience preferred
- Die assembly experience required
- Demonstrated skill working in a team environment
- Must have a positive attitude
