Job Description:

As a Junior Tax Consultant at Augmentjobs, you will assist in providing tax planning and compliance services to a diverse portfolio of clients. You will work closely with senior tax consultants and managers to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting and help clients navigate complex tax regulations. This role is ideal for individuals with a foundational understanding of tax laws and a passion for developing their expertise in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tax Preparation and Compliance: Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research on tax issues and interpret tax laws, regulations, and guidelines to provide informed advice and recommendations.

  • Client Interaction: Assist in responding to client inquiries, providing clear and timely information related to their tax matters.

  • Documentation: Maintain and organize tax records, financial statements, and other relevant documents to support tax filings and audits.
