The MRI Technologist will perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body for the physician and support the patients throughout the procedure.   • Screen patients before examinations for any precautions or contradictions about examination; use two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
  • Explain and prepare patients for MRI procedures that will be performed; explain the procedure and position patients appropriately.
  • Assist with maintaining an updated imagining protocol manual and software upgrades.
MRI Technologist’s Qualifications
  • Certification from an American Medical Association (AMA) approved radiology school is required.
  • Must be a Licensed Radiological Technologist.
  • AART and imaging specialty certifications are required.
  • CPR Certification is required.
  • Previous experience in fieldwork and training to perform MRI procedures are required.

Salary: $42 - $50 an hour
