Our Property Preservation Specialist is the primary point of contact for our Client(s).

Our Client Management department is seeking a qualified candidate to fill our Property Preservation Specialist role. The Property Preservation Specialist will act as the primary point of contact for our client(s) for all servicing functions related to preservation and protection of our Client(s) mortgage assets. The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, task oriented and understand various investor and state regulations; ability to research issues; analysis capability on critical issues.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Including but not limited to:

  • Timely creation of property preservation work orders to be delivered to our field contractors and monitoring to completion
  • Complete quality check of all bids submitted or work completed in field
  • Timely submission of completed work results and/or bid requests to our clients System of Record
  • Timely submission of Over Allowable requests for approval to Investors on preservation work completed in excess of Investor's allowable guidelines
  • Review, decision and process invoices to the client in accordance to Investor/Client guidelines
  • Responsible for 1 portfolio
  • Being the liaison between our Client(s) and vendor management team
  • Investigating, evaluating, and negotiating to resolve all servicing related issues
  • Documenting all client and contractor communication and actions across various systems
  • Miscellaneous duties and tasks assigned by management

Job Qualifications Required:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated PC skills; experience with Excel, Word and Outlook

Job Qualifications Preferred:

  • Property preservation experience
  • Default Servicing, Foreclosure, Home Preservation, Bankruptcy, REO or Client Relations experience
  • Knowledge of Agency and Investor guidelines (FHA, FHLMC, FNMA, VA)
  • Experience with Aspen Grove, Property Preservation Wizard, P260, Hometracker and Vendorscape web based applications
  • Completion of secondary education
  • 6 months financial servicing/operation experience
