Position Title:Power Platform Developer

Position Location:This position is currently remote with an occasional meeting onsite in Arlington, VA.


Daily Responsibilities:

  • Develop Power platform based applications using MS Dataverse
  • Will develop and support solutions which address a range of business needs including Apps, workflow, forms, collaboration sites, document management, or business intelligence / reporting
  • Will be the technical lead for existing Power Apps and integration of legacy apps into Dataverse
  • Will review existing Power Platform apps and establish plans and discrete tasks for upgrading or integrating automations using a central data set
  • Understanding what the business does, how it operates and how to best utilize Microsofts available tools in the clients SharePoint & Power Apps environment, to resolve business problems and improve/automate processes, provide rich business logic and workflow capabilities transforming manual business operations into digital, automated processes
  • The SharePoint/Power Apps Architect will ensure that best practices are defined and adhered to; provide recommendations on improvements, technical analysis on projects, drive efficiencies through optimization and automation
  • Assist QA team analysts with migration and maintenance of client documentation to SharePoint repositories
  • Set up and monitor automation flows to support data integration, migration, and alert success/failures
  • Create user dashboards and reports using the power BI platform
  • Develop PowerPlatform solutions including PowerApp, PowerAutomate, and Dataverse. Utilize problem-solving skills to troubleshoot challenges from Development of DAX functions and Power BI development tools
  • Ensure security best practices are implemented, maintained and audited utilizing the clients governance guidance
  • Serve as a SharePoint SME on future projects and initiatives by gathering requirements, creating specs and ensuring successful delivery
  • Experience and proficiency in SharePoint Framework
  • Monitor and validate new agile features as release by Microsoft in GCC environment
  • Develop training materials and deliver software training as needed
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve the end-user experience and/or system processes


Required Years of Experience (min):

  • Minimum 3 years experience working primarily with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI) and SharePoint


Required Degree/Certification:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related scientific, technical discipline or equivalent.
  • Equivalent experience may be substituted for formal degree in some cases.


Preferred Certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer


Required Experience:

  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as C#, C++, JSON, Python, JavaScript, SQL, etc.
  • Experience as lead architect of Power Apps using M365 Dataverse and/or other databases including SQL.
  • Experience managing work, checking in code and administering the Azure Ecosystem
  • Experience as primary responsible party for hands on work and policy regarding Data security and access controls in SharePoint
  • Experience in data modeling and query tools such as Power Query in Power BI and Excel
  • Extensive presentation and demonstration experience resulting in empowering users with Power Platform skills


Required Clearance:

  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance.
