Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSheehy Auto Stores is honored to win the 2024 Richmond Times Dispatch & Washington Post Top Workplaces Award Sheehy Lexus of Annapolis is in search of a Part-Time Service Cashier with excellent customer service skills and a winning attitude. As a cashier you will be able to use your skills in greeting our service customers while completing their transaction, you also will work with some of the best Service Advisors and Managers in the business to ensure that repair needs are communicated and executed properly and delivered as promised. Our goal is to always exceed expectations and we need associates who feel the same way. The cashier position provides a thorough introduction into the world of auto repair.   Responsibilities
  • Friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient when working with all customers and employees
  • Calculates the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system.
  • Receives cash, checks and credit card payments from customers and records the amount received on the repair order
  • Makes change accurately and issues receipts to customers
  • Records totals of repair orders, verifies against all cash, checks and credit card payments on hand at end of shift
  • Refers customers who have additional questions to the service advisor or other appropriate staff member.
  • Handles customer complaints with integrity and poise and refers the customer to the appropriate individual for further assistance.
  • Assist with various clerical duties as needed
Requirements
  • High School diploma or higher
  • Ability to communicate professionally
  • Customer service experience and friendly demeanor
  • Accountability and personal integrity are essential as the nature of the position allows access to a client's personal and private information
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
  • Great attitude with a high-energy personality
  • All candidates must be authorized to work in the USA
  • All candidates must have the ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver’s license
