We are currently seeking an Integration Developer Engineer II to work with a prestigious banking institution in their information technology department for this Direct Hire opportunity.

Position Overview:

As an Integration Developer Engineer II, you will play a key role in providing engineering and analysis support throughout all phases of the banking institution's information technology department. Your responsibilities will include recommending, planning, and implementing new technology solutions, working independently or in small teams to deliver integrated solution designs, and serving as an information technology liaison across departments and teams. You will also collaborate with outside vendors to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Must have Jack Henry Programming experience within a financial institution.
  • Suggest, strategize, and execute fresh technology solutions related to core processing systems and third-party applications.
  • Provide integrated solution designs either independently or within small groups.
  • Serve as a liaison in the information technology realm across various departments and teams to grasp, define, and enact requested changes to existing processes and business needs.
  • Recognize potential issues, limitations in resources, and risks that could hinder project finalization.
  • Cooperate with external vendors to ensure the triumph of projects.
  • Formulate system design, integration propositions, and project implementation strategies following a tried-and-tested project management approach.
  • Monitor and oversee unresolved issues until resolution, maintaining communication with users through the provision of pertinent and timely status updates.
  • Conduct and supervise performance examinations on both new and existing software for the purpose of debugging and enhancement.

Qualifications:

  • Substantial background spanning 10-15 years within the financial industry.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with core host systems over a decade-long period.
  • Proven track record of software development proficiency using structured programming languages.
  • Exceptional experience in project integration and project management.
  • Proficient technical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Innate ability to innovate and devise creative solutions.
  • Minimal supervision required, demonstrating self-directedness and initiative.
  • Demonstrated expertise in defining program requirements and formulating implementation/integration plans.
  • Fluent in core processing programming languages, displaying technical fluency.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft programming and SQL development tools.
  • Advanced database development skills, including sophisticated SQL programming and data analysis.
  • Proficient in conducting research on software-related issues and products.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication abilities.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to set and manage priorities effectively.
  • Possesses strong tactical skills and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Articulate communicator, capable of conveying ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong negotiating skills and attention to detail.
  • Service-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Formal Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
  • Sofware development experience with knowledge of structured programming languages.
