Job Description:

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Cashier and Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling transactions, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in a warm and professional manner
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
  • Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products and services
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally
  • Assist in stocking shelves and organizing merchandise
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in retail or customer service is a plus
  • Proven experience as a Cashier, Customer Service Representative, or in a similar role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds
