Job Summary: Looking for a flexible second income opportunity? Join IntraCare Health Center as a PRN Physician Assistant and/or Nurse Practitioner to support our clinics throughout the DFW market on an as-needed basis. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care under the supervision of our medical team, ensuring high-quality healthcare delivery across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Conduct patient assessments, diagnose illnesses, and formulate treatment plans.
- Medical Procedures: Perform procedures such as suturing, wound care, and injections.
- Prescription Management: Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses.
- Collaborative Practice: Work closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Skills:
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently within scope of practice.
- Excellent communication skills and bedside manner.
- Ability to adapt to different clinic environments and patient populations.
- Proficient with electronic health records systems.
Requirements:
- Active licensure as a Physician Assistant and/or Nurse Practitioner in the state of Texas.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Previous experience in primary care or a related specialty preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Comfortable with standing, walking, and performing clinical procedures.
- Access to reliable transportation.
